Laser = Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation
The laser's implement opens news horizons : the surpassing of limits of conventional process, but also, the realization of wholly new manufacturing methods thanks to a tool.
A CO2 laser converts the electrical energy in radiation laser oriented. Precision mirrors reflect the laser ray practically rectilinear in the optical resonator, with a repeated movement of going there and back. The excitement and the composition of the gas are fixed so as to obtain, during the laser ray passing over into the gas, the maximal radiation power of the ray reflected.
The laser light may be transmitted to a great distance with a feeble power loss. Laser light may be oriented by mirrors and may be focused on a surface of 0,1 mm. This represents the greatest concentration of power among all sources of energy. In so far as manufacturing tool, the laser is fast, free of any wear and any constraint. It has a high precision and its action may be controled and modulated too.
The excitement by high frequency reduces the production costs and increases the security.
The lighting by high frequency and the coupling of power without electrodes into the flux of the laser gas allow to work with low services voltages and avoid the unnecessary gas pollution. Its consummation is reduced to the minimum.
